Throughout
the world, the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation is
acknowledged as the security profession's highest recognition

practitioners. It is
evidence that an individual is "Board

The CPP is awarded based upon experience and passage of an
examination that provides an objective measure of an individual's
broad-based knowledge and competency in security management.
Mr. Canaan was awarded this prestigious credential in
June 1997.
Ongoing professional development is required in order to maintain
this certification. The CPP is
administered by the American Society

32,000 members worldwide. In
order to earn this credential, I had to comply with stringent eligibility
requirements consisting of certain education and/or work experience
qualifications including employment in a security profession in a
responsible-charge position.
Currently, Mr. Canaan one of only 4,500 active CPP’s in the world.
