Michael J. Canaan
Michael J. Canaan, CPP CFLC is Board Certified in Security Management-Certified Protection Professional and a Certified Forensic Litigation Consultant; Professional Protection Specialist; Certified Contraband and Explosive Detection Dog Handler; Certifying Working Dog Official; Legal Investigator; and Security Consultant as President of Trident Investigative Service, Inc. Mr. Canaan's areas of training expertise includes, but is not limited to electronic countermeasures and proprietary information loss; surveillance and surveillance detection; employee termination security; workplace violence prevention; protective intelligence; security surveys, risk, and vulnerability assessments; and specialized covert video (CCTV), photographic and video surveillance. Mr. Canaan served on the protective detail aboard Helicopter Marine Squadron One, the Presidential Helicopter Unit. He has completed numerous Federal and state law enforcement, and private firearm courses. Mr. Canaan is a retired WA State Criminal Justice Training Commission Certified Peace Officer; current WA State Criminal Justice Training Commission Certified Firearms (Handgun, Shotgun, Scoped Rifle and Patrol Rifle) Instructor, as well as a graduate of the Heckler and Koch Law Enforcement Instructor Course. He is a Glock Armorer; TASER Instructor and Armorer; handcuffing, expandable baton and OC instructor.
Martin Radley is currently a Certified Peace Officer and law enforcement administrator; motorcycle and traffic officer; Emergency Vehicle Operator instructor; firearms instructor with the WA State Criminal Justice Training Commission; and firearms instructor through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
Tim has been in the law enforcement field for over ten years. Starting in support services and then a reserve police officer, He has served the last seven years in corrections. With six years dedicated to the study of use of force, combatives, and tactics, Tim has a heart for training. Starting his martial arts training at age 11, Tim quickly went on to wrestling a few years later. Upon entering the law enforcement field, Tim took to defensive tactics. He has since become a Master Defensive Tactics Instructor, Taser Instructor, Field Training Officer, and Corrections Emergency Response Team (CERT) Instructor.
Custody Officer Tim Fasnacht was one of Lynnwood Police Department’s original Police Explorers, following his time with the explorer post he was hired in 2003 as a Police Cadet. Officer Fasnacht was hired full time as a Lynnwood Police Department Custody Officer in 2006. Officer Fasnacht current works in the jail as a custody officer and is a master defensive tactics instructor.
Donald Tardiff is currently a Certified Peace Officer, former SWAT Team Member and Patrol Dog Handler. Mr. Tardiff is a firearms instructor, as well as a graduate of the Heckler and Koch Law Enforcement Instructor Course.
